Let's Talk Activities
The Let's Talk activities have been used successfully as part of community education strategies since 1994. Let's Talk activities provide a way for parents and guardians to assess their own children's knowledge, attitudes and behaviors-focusing on young people's experience with bullying, violence, substance abuse and injury.

Let's Talk and the Health Care Community
Every community has a network of health care providers which may include medical doctors, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, nurses and behavioral health care providers. A safe and healthy community is one where both physical and emotional health care is provided to residents. Such care needs to be accessible, affordable and culturally sensitive to diverse populations.
Get Informed
Explore the Let's Talk site, including "family talks" and resources, to learn how health care providers can work together to promote family health.
Sponsor a Let's Talk Workshop
Invite Let's Talk into your work environment for an engaging "lunch and learn" with your staff. We can work with you to customize the workshops and presentations for staff development.
Promote Let's Talk Workshops
Find out when the next Let's Talk workshop is being held and invite your young patients and their parents to get involved.
Help us Find Let's Talk Trainers
Consider becoming a Let's Talk Trainer or encouraging your staff or patients to become trainers. Trainers provide workshops to parents in the workplace, schools and community. Let's Talk Trainers can teach parents about violence, substance abuse and injury issues. Let's Talk will provide a forum for talking about how parents can help keep our youth safe, healthy and on the path to success in school, work, and family.
Get Involved!
Your community is an environment that should be youth-friendly where young people feel protected and supported to succeed. There are a variety of ways to get involved in community and school projects. Please visit the Community Projects section for a menu of community activities to join or start.
