Let's Talk Activities
The Let's Talk activities have been used successfully as part of community education strategies since 1994. Let's Talk activities provide a way for parents and guardians to assess their own children's knowledge, attitudes and behaviors-focusing on young people's experience with bullying, violence, substance abuse and injury.

Let's Talk and the School Community
Schools are the center of young peoples' lives and are designed to prepare young people for success in the workforce, family life and community life. We know that schools need resources and on-going support to provide environments where learning is the priority. Let's Talk provides resources for school staff to promote the safety and health of students and their families.

Help us find Let's Talk trainers
If your parents, relatives or neighbors might enjoy working with other parents, ask them to become Let's Talk Trainers. Trainers provide workshops to parents in the workplace, schools and community. Let's Talk Trainers can teach parents about violence, substance abuse and injury issues. Let's Talk will provide a forum for talking about how parents can help keep our youth safe, healthy and on the path to success in school, work and family.
Get Involved!
Your school is also a workplace that deserves to be free of harassment of any kind. Your community is an environment that should be youth-friendly where young people feel protected and supported to succeed. There are quite a few ways to get involved in community and school projects. Please visit the Community Projects section for a menu of community activities to join or start.
